i didn't have high hopes for this one, but am pleasantly surprised. Great voice-overs (much better than most by this publisher), good music, lovely graphics. My only complaint is the sloppy use of ambiguous words in several HO scenes (e.g. "ring" when there are no less than 3 separate rings visible, one of which is a key ring, and only one of which is The One True Ring). After completing it: one of my favourites from Artifex Mundi.
Errrrr Not great to be honest. The basic idea was good, the graphics were great as usual but it just didn't flow. Half the time you were left wondering what to do next. One thing that drives me nuts is leaving a zoom in spot 'open' even when you've read/got what you need from it. Loved atom but felt he could've been used more. Just not as polished as the normal AM games and the story wasn't anywhere near good enough to fully absorb your attention. No where near enough mini games and I just got a bit bored.
Good game few to many HO otherwise very enjoyable. Could do with printed info to be white hard to read in red. Kittens so cute. I enjoyed the game even more the second time . Good graphics, good story.
Fun game. I liked the set up, and the length was good. I'm not a huge fan of Artifex Mundi's graphics but it wasn't too bad. The storyline seemed disjointed at times but somewhat interesting.
Pretty good I have no idea what the story was supposed to be about...very nonsensical. Good voice overs for a pleasant surprise...I wasn't even tempted to mute it. Liked the games and puzzles. Just fell flat with content.
The title and Irish caricature are a bit misleading, but once you get into playing the game, it falls together nicely. I like the mix of cutaways that draw you into the story line. Another work of art from Artifex Mundi. It never disappoints. My other favourite HOG company is 5-BN.
