I've been using this app for nearly 8 weeks now. I purchased the yearly subscription because I find this a very relaxing workout routine (sounds ironic, but it really does feel like it). I currently live in a busy city and it's hard to find safe running routes so this is a perfect substitute. I've seen different changes to the app but I'm actually not affected as long as I can do the coach workouts as scheduled. I do love the lotus logo, but I don't hate the new one. It's nice to see workout previews in coach workouts but I don't get demotivated by not being able to see it. It's my first time sticking with a workout routine this long. Thankfully I found this app.
I really loved this app when I first got it, which is why I decided to pay for a full year (almost $50) to get access to everything, like the personal training plans. The problem is that it updated constantly , and not for the better. When one thing gets fixed, another issues pops up. Especially disappointed with the latest update....do not like the new look and you can no longer preview the workouts before you start them, which is a big bummer and deters me from starting them. I wish they would just find something that works and stick with it. I paid for what I started with, which was great.
For the first week, I really enjoyed it. Now, I am unable to get past the music selection screen on any workout. Updating didn't help. Quite frustrated that I spent $50 on an app I can't use :(
I hate the new update and look/logo change. I was just about to shell out for the premium but I'm so glad I didn't because I think I rather find another app then deal with the interface and restrictions on this now. I think the only complaint I had before the update was there being no *no music* option before starting the workout that i could find. I love the yoga videos I've tried so far, great for beginners to moderate (idk about above that I couldnt say). The tokens are a great motivation to keep working out daily in my opinion. Pre update there was a lot less ad pressure to buy premium but now you can click on anything without it trying to up sale you or even just open the app. It use to also rotate the different free workouts along with a daily one that was longer but now? Now you have the same 5 and one daily that is often repeated. Pros: i love the instructor I see in 99% of the videos (ive only seen a different one once) she is great at explaining the moves when and how to breathe and all that. I love the consistency of her, I don't want a caffeinated cheerleader and she is perfect for what I look for in a yoga instructor. TLDR: Great yoga instructors, terrible app interface. Too much pressure to buy premium.
Everytime they update the app, it gets worse. Gone are the workout previews, and now it won't track your workout streak. Ho hum.
I want the 5 minutes Workout back.... I don't always have time for a longer one.... I don't want a 7 day free trail.... I really regret updating the spp....It used to be do good....
