Safest & Easiest Password App We've been using the updated version of this app since 2006. Only complaint is syncing between phone and desktop rarely matches up revisions, so I have to do them manually.
Using for years now I have been using this for years and this and is my go to app for storing any sensitive info. With the recent updates of finger print authentication and other bug fixes this has become even more indispensable. Only thing pending now is secure browse integration, which some of the other competitive paid apps are providing. Rest all is awesome
An essential for my data security I use this program on several devices, Android, Mac and iPhone OS, using Dropbox and wifi connect to synchronize the database, it works well and has become an essential. Only issue; infrequent database corruption that immediately close the program on my laptop, usually occurring after a synchronization session with my phones. Restoring the database from the Dropbox backup, corrects this, most likely it is my 9 year's old laptop that won't support the latest OS version, that is the culprit.
Reasonable app with Poor support I've used this app for many years now along with various similar competitors and this one's an old favourite of mine. I have had the odd technical issue, (invariably after a phone or PC upgrade) yet generally speaking their support is swift, professional, effective and friendly. I would (and have done for years) recommend this password management solution and would personally and professionally, find it difficult to function without.
Wifi sync broken by update - fixed now Wifi sync to my PC has stopped working. It reports "success" but changes on the PC are never seen on my Android phone. Update: developer contacted me and gave me procedure for deleting & refreshing the database. That fixed the sync issues, but as always happens on a fresh install of this app, it creates sample entries which I had to delete.
Update: June 21, 2016 A while ago, Ascendo re-introduced the ability to set the default login keyboard to alphanumeric or numeric, along with some new features and a renewed appearance. That means I'm back to loving this product and recommending to all my friends/acquaintances who aren't using a password manager. I'm also appreciative of the fact that they're continuing to upgrade the product. Update: June 12, 2014 - This latest update has removed the ability to use a numeric keypad for typing in the login password. This makes it extremely inconvenient to use when your password is all digits; smaller keys and the need to always push an additional key to get the number row to appear add unnecessary friction to the process of accessing my data. Please bring back the option to enter the password via a numeric, phone-type keypad. Prior to this, I was pretty pleased with this app. The new features are great but it pains me to see that this is a case of three steps forward, one step back.
