If you're living or traveling in South Africa, this app is a must. I operate a remote business that requires wifi and meetings overseas, so it's critical to plan for load shedding. This app makes that easy. The user interface is intuitive, and it's easy to find the information you need. You can follow multiple areas at once to coordinate around load shedding, which is really nice. This app makes checking load shedding like checking the weather.

Works well, but could be better if the alarm was customisable. Letting me know there's loadshedding 55min before isn't always enough time to do anything. If I could e.g customize the alarms to be 3 or 4hrs before power cuts off - I could make sure a warm meal is cooked and devices are recharged. This way I do not have to constantly pay attention to the schedule or it's changes and I could get notifications with plenty of time instead. Please consider adding this.

I'm updating my review because this app has only gotten better over the years. It has been a life saver during load shedding but has built its way into being a fantastic community app. Great for sharing information during water outages to figuring out where the neighbours missing dog ran off to. I find myself relying on it more than I realise.
