Definitely a good and worthwhile download!! I've been studying Japanese for 3 years, and this app really shows me how much I know. I can actually have fun with it and I can learn the kanji much more quickly. I would give it 5 stars, but I've only been using it a shorwhile and I haven't fiddled with all of the settings. I'll update my review or give another once I go through the entire app.
Amazing app to practice kanji and pretty good at teaching kanji too! I'm using this in conjunction with wani Kani, and it's working great! I have one big problem though. Every time the writing section criticizes my strokes and doesn't give me a chance to even write the word without deducting all the percent, I get so annoyed. If they at least offer an option to disable this and compare/decide what is correct for ourselves, I will gladly give this 5 stars because it truly does deserve it other than this one criticism.
I love this app, and I think the creator is an amazing person for making it free and without ads. Two suggestions: 1. Sound This would make it much easier to learn pronunciation and (in my opinion) would raise the app to another level. If you're worried about app size, you can make it an optional download in the settings, I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate it. 2. Pitch accent This one is more of a personal preference, but I want to know the "proper" way to pronounce things (think standard accent). You could use the numbering system like in dictionaries, or you could bold the high moras, or any number of things of the sort. Thank you for all your amazing work!
As someone who has been studying for 6 years now, this app makes studying Kanji enjoyable. I'm currently going through the writing section starting from the N5, making sure my basic Kanji is still up to par. Also I have never been a fan of making flashcards, so having an app like this that not only shows stroke order, machines, and readings makes this app my favorite way to study on the go. このアプリを作ってくれてありがとうございます! これからも一生懸命漢字を勉強していきます。
I love this application but there's a bug with revising vocab currently. It doesn't update my stats and keeps bringing me back to the same terms no matter how many times I answer them correctly. Then it started crashing on me. Note 8
This app is really great! So far I've only been in reading mode, but with the provided hints you can quickly figure out the meaning. I've been studying for a while, and never really got heavy into kanji because it seemed intimidating. There are lots of tools here to help get comfortable with it! I can't wait to try the rest of this app's features!
