This is my first experience with Potion Explosion. I like it and look forward to exploring the game, but two times now the game has closed for no reason and the game I was playing disappeared. This is not acceptable for an app that I purchased. I purchased the game just last night. Please address this crashing issue.
Superb implementation of a good board game. The graphics compliment the slick UI. They replicate the fun of the marbles in the physical game better than I would have thought they could.
Excellent game, no issues at all. Should be more popular than it is.
This app is fantastic, and true to the physical boardgame. The only difference, which I admit that I miss, is that the starting potions are randomly assigned at the start of the game instead of being drafted by the players. I suspect this change was made to facilitate faster online play. Otherwise, you'd have to wait for multiple notification responses during potion selection before the game even begins. It's a small thing that I'm ok with, but I do prefer the drafting option in the physical game.
This is an extremely enjoyable, well made game overall. There's a surprising amount of depth and planning ahead, which is nice as well. Graphics are beautiful, and controls couldn't be simpler. My only complaint is that the game heats up my device pretty badly. Considering I'm playing on a gaming tablet (the Nvidia Shield K1), that's surprising. It makes me wonder what it does to less powerful devices. Fix this and it would be a five star game. Even as is, it's a game worthy of playing, to be sure.
The game is very fun. But, in 4 games I've come to game breaking bugs twice. I had 2 stored colors and 1 blue in the beakers to the right. I used the rainbow unicorn potion and the beakers to the right didn't blink but the two stored colors did. I proceeded to try to drag the blinking colors to my potion but couldn't. Finally I decided to take one for the team and just click the check mark to finish using the potion without completing the effect. It just sat there and I clicked and clicked like there was no event bound to the click.
- Fixed a bug which sometimes caused online games to go out of sync and become
- Fixed a bug that prevented the Balm of Uttermost Stickiness to pick the last
marble in a sequence.
- Fixed players presence indicators in gameplay to properly show users online
status. Player status is now visible in the Lobby and Buddy list as well.
- Improved minor graphics and smoothed some animations all around.
