Ratings and reviews

Generally speaking, the app works alright. It still isn't quite as fluid or "pretty" as Spotify, but that's okay. Lately it seems that if I am listening via Tidal Connect, then stop for a while & it disconnects, it doesn't work right the first time I reconnect. For instance, I reconnected and kept playing the same song, then when I tried to change to a new song, it disconnected and jumped to the middle of the new song?? To be clear, updating did not fix this.

This app is one of the worst when I comes to bugs. The update that was released last year 2.145 broke casting in a way where it shows 2 completely different songs on your phone and TV. The shuffle is also absolutely trash, it will shuffle the first 50 songs and you have to choose a song further back in your library for it to touch songs that were added a while back. I can list MANY more but this review would be a couple pages long. Fix your bugs from months ago instead of just saying sorry... 👎

This app is a serious safety risk as Tidal no longer works at all on Android Auto. You select any music and it just stalls on "Getting Your Selection" which it never "gets". Once again, I'm cancelling my Tidal subscription since the primary use case is to listen in the car, and this app forces me to take out my phone, take my eyes off the road, and then select music. What a joke and a serious danger to anyone trying to use this app in the car.
