Ratings and reviews

A pretty damn good port of the classic game. My main gripe is that it is *not* offline. You NEED an Internet connection to launch the app. Yes it's single player with no online functionality, but the app requires a ping to authenticate your install. So if you don't have service, are in airplane mode, or don't have wifi you cannot launch the app and are unable to play. The 'minigames', swoop racing and space combat, kinda suck with touch control.

My experiences is similar to many other reviewers using newer devices. The game will, at some point, not open regardless of how many times you clear cache. I keep getting a message saying to wait for the developer to update the game before reattempting to launch the game. Unbelievable. I played this game so much before this & my saves are wasted. You could potentially delete and redownload the game and start over but again, you run the risk of encountering this same issue. Unplayable.

Great game, horrible controls for a port. Were the mechanics for walking/running and looking designed for use with only one finger? Or how about moving back and forth constantly, just so the game actually targets a storage box or loot on the ground. There should be a button or setting to loot automatically or at least when pressing a button to gather the closest resources available for looting. I sure miss playing the original Xbox version.
