Open your apartment with your Android device!
With Vingcard Mobile Access (previously called Student Mobile Access) you can receive your apartment key direct to your phone before you arrive.

When you arrive at the accommodation, go straight to your apartment and open the door by holding your phone against the lock. Your apartment key is securely delivered and stored inside your device and you don't need to worry about a keycard.

"Vingcard Mobile Access" is available at selected student accommodations around the world.

For anyone struggling to unlock their apartment, I found that turning off NFC in quick settings(deactivating mobile payments in the process) does the trick, at least for my S22. If you use a smart watch, try simply disconnecting it, and if that doesn't work, unpair it. Try not use any other Bluetooth devices while the app is open. Crazy that I can't use these services as intended just to be able to use the elevator and enter my dorm.

app sucks. worse than a key in every way. boo hoo, costs landlords to change locks. app is inconsistent, buggy, and such an inconvenience

10/10 would rather lobotomize myself than try to set this up again.
