I have ForScan on my laptop. But my battery on the laptop is screwed so it has to be mains powered. So rather than trail a 25m extension lead out to my car to plug it in to read data, I thought I'd give the app a try. Waste of time. App doesn't even connect to the car. Thought I'd save time by getting it on my phone but instead wasted 20 mins trying to connect to my car which I could have done if I could be bothered to do it the hard way. The whole point in a demo is to give people a feel of the app before they decide whether to buy it or not. Yes it's only £3.50 to upgrade but I'm not paying that if it doesn't even connect. So for this reason I'm giving the app 2 stars. Works great on computer but no good on Smartphone.
Worked in demo bought paid version both free and paid stopped working
When the Demo is so limited it will not read the basic data from the ECU and display it very sad. Then the lite version costs, something is very wrong. Yes I understand reduced functionality but Seriously
It didn't identify my 2008 Edge, I really wanted to buy the lite version...
The only scanner so far that has read my abs codes and my vehicle make and model for a f series f 53 motorhome v 10 triton. I cant wait til payday to upgrade from demo to forscan lite. Without question , without Fail. Thank You Alex. A very much appreciated App for the Ford world , for myself. God bless you.
As others have mentioned, will not connect to BAFX 34t5 Bluetooth OBDII Scan Tool for Android Devices, while TorqueLite has no issues. Will uninstall.
