My phone sound went dead several times while joshua was helping me and he called right back to continue helping. I tried to do survey when we were through and once again phone sound on my end dropped. Hope att gets this fixed. Wanted to give joshua a high rating for his knowledge and patience.
For some reason, it doesn't allow one to schedule backups, etc?! At it allows one to specify only do backups while connected to a Wi-Fi network, so that one doesn't rack up data charges. So around noontime, when I'm sometimes out of the house, I keep getting these notifications that backup failed, because I'm not connected to a Wi-Fi network - I wish there was something I could do about this by not having it constantly try to backup at midday, when one can likely be out and about :-| Also, beware of the occasional incessant notification that sometimes smacks of advertising.
How can I have excellent protection but it take 3 attempts to locate my phone & 2 attempts to sound an alarm. What if my device was lost or stolen?! This is protection? Also just tried to send an email showing you the problem & it came undeliverable because the addess doesn't exist. So your giving customers phony email addresses to not resolve their issues? I used the email addess in this app that states send email.
Bloatware, crapware, spyware... whatever you want to call it I don't appreciate being forced to host your app on MY phone. I pay you to use the network. That's it! Try making better apps and services and maybe you wouldn't have to force people to host your buggy and thus probably insecure code.
Battery killer! Pretty bad when their own weekly reports they send you has it as the top battery drainer consistently! 20-25% of my weekly battery drain. Considering I never evrn open it that is just background battery drain!! I even had all syncing turned off except contacts and report location when battery is about to die! For reference/comparison my email app uses only 6-8% weekly and I use it constantly.
This is a very good app. Note for Asurian: Your expert who helped me set this up, yesterday, Andrew was just great. I wanted to fill out the survey but didn;t get it. Will you please send me that survey again so I may give Andrew proper credit.. Again, I really do like the features of Protect Plus. And I very much appreciate Andrew.
