Like many I remember being young and playing missile command at the local arcade. They had nights we could buy a ristband and play all night. I miss the sound of it, how loud and alive the place was. Anyway, I agree with another review I read. The difficulty ramps FAST in this version. If you stick with it though things will seem to slow down as you get into your groove and your react time will speed up. Patients people, you will improve. It's alot of fun. The music is great love it.

This game was MY jam when it first released. I was on the tournament curcuit, and was the first person in my area to roll it (scoring 999,999 points and rolling over to 0) Although I agree that this is the best iteration of the game, it is seriously flawed. A major strategy mechanic has been eliminated: the ability to select which turret to use in each shot. Worst, the difficulty arc is INSANELY disproportunsate. My very best score is a measly 92k. That needs attention. Great port all around!

A much better mobile rendition of the arcade game than expected. Brought up to date a little with some power ups. It's frantic, without feeling stupidly difficult. I maxed out the buffs in about 20 plays, which is disappointing. I do miss the levels, with bonus points for saving cities and being frugal with missiles. I'd love it as an option. Don't like how the power ups morph as they cross the screen. The smart bombs aren't as smart as the original, and always vertical. Overall, thumbs up
