Chatbot isn't working, need internet to use app, constant pestering to upgrade to premium. I want to get along with this app cuz its got potential just too many draw backs leave me salty after paying premium for something I can't use in remote areas.
Read poor reviews pointing out that you're given little explanation of the Japanese grammar or vocab and have to guess most of the answers, but that's actually what I like about Mondly. I use this app to maintain the Japanese I've learned when I don't have time to study from my textbooks. Small bugs aside this app is perfect for my needs and I upgraded to premium even though $20 was a tad expensive. Just started learning Spanish and will practice it with Mondly soon too. Update: I'm now using the Spanish and Chinese sections in Mondly to supplement learning those languages. I take it back, really appreciate being able to access a variety of languages for the average cost of a self-study textbook.
I like the way the app functions, the design seems pretty good. However, I feel bad for having just paid for premium and finding out that a function like the microphone doesn't work. So basically, I would now like to find out how you guys can refund me as I signed up specifically for your chatbot feature. EDIT: They don't seem to respond to my above stated complaint. I paid almost 50euro for a product that doesn't work. I want my money back! EDIT 2: It's 4 days since I wrote them and I haven't heard a single thing. Please don't buy this app as these guys can't be trusted!
Limited I really like the app but it only lets me go so far and it won't let me unlock anything. It just keeps telling me I have to pay to move on. I've only had this app for a couple of days and this app has tought me a lot. But it would be nice if I didn't have to pay to move on
The app is overall really good but I'm stuck in the Hello section because I tap and hold to record my voice but it's working properly. It's not my phone, I'm updating the app to see if the problem continues which I think might not be the issue at all. The app is currently updated and the problem is still there. I'm using a LG G4 and I believe it's compartible for all of the app's features. I want to pay for the subscription, is it relatated to the microphone use?
Starting lessons are good. But daily lessons and further are sometimes confusing. 3/4 of today lesson they show you the verd for to fly, and in the end of the lesson phrase with completely different verb with close meaning. Really?
