Pretty bad, it keeps connecting to hotspots without authenticating so instead of data service, you get prompted to login with an account which I do not have all over London and Amsterdam. It does work occasionally, perhaps 20% of the time.
Definitely can't use international! Just went on a trip to London and Paris and you can't connect at all! I have great bars and signal, so why I can't I just use the signal for the data? This app won't pick up any Wi-Fi (If there are any). I feel it would be better if the company partners with other companies in the country. Do not get this plan. It doesn't work. Waste of time. Made it hard on the trio because I was planning on bringing a GPS and figured I'd have data to use, but no. Do Not Get. At all.
A plague on battery life. Despite being connected to authenticated networks it will jump to any bad open network sending tour device on an endless loop. Better to manage connections yourself than use this piss poor excuse for network connections when traveling.
I installed and tried multiple times to test this app in the U.S. and it freezes and won't return any results. AT&T, this is pathetic. Roll out fixes and learn to test your product more effectively.
Utterly abysmal. An unfettered mess of absolute tripe that barely works. Prepare to spend hours in poorly designed menus, laggy websites, and tangled web of passcodes and ID's. And that's just to get into the app. It doesn't connect at all with purchased. plans without vast amounts of tedious busywork. Utterly abhorrent. Unfortunately, if you have AT&T, it's basically the only way to get international data. So basically, you're screwed.
At a bare minimum, helps connecting to int'l hotspots if you've got an ATT travel package. That said, seems to be a completely nightmare for battery, especially when in an area of a number of WiFi networks. I'm not sure if it's a location thing or authentication thing or a combo, but it's murdering my battery life when NOT traveling, so I've uninstalled. Like most things AT&T, it's not very well built. This should be wrapped around Maps so that it can leverage existing cached location and map data, but of course it does not. Also does no evaluating of network quality, or prompting to ask if you'd like to login, etc. Anyway, just more ATT trash to avoid unless there's literally no way around it.
