The game is good. Would consider 5 stars only if they had cockpits specific to each plane instead of using the same cockpit for every plane. G force simulation is a little off. You can turn hard at high speed endlessly and then after 20 hard turns you can barely touch the stick without blacking out. One hard outside roll and suddenly you are immune to the g forces again. Its like it winds up and you just have to unwind it once. Whatever. Just saying. Its a good game. Wish i could have a choice of aircraft and weapons in single player story mode. Nice work overall.
Great game but....... This game is one of the best for this genre. Have it on steam and jumped on it for you phone. Only problem though is that planes you have earned/bought (with in game currency, not IAP) will vanish and say not unlocked. This is quite frustrating when you put a lot of time in to get them and basically have to start all over. Please fix this ASAP for 5*s
Very impressed. It has an air of quality that you just don't find in most mobile games. Visually it's excellent, with a consistent and high frame rate, with the music and sound effects also being top quality. The controls, so often the bane of mobile gaming (especially in racing and flying games), are varied so every skill level and ability is catered for, from a casual arcade player to a more sim focused player. IAP are there, and pricey, but don't stifle progress for the commited player. Very good 4/5
I Was Hesitant Anytime I see multiple IAPs, I'm hesitant to make a purchase (especially if I have to buy the game, too). But, since Google increased the refund time limit, I feel safer testing apps. I'm glad I finally bought a license! The IAPs are onetime purchases and there are no consumables to buy. Anything unlocked is permanent (except, apparently, from all the reviews, their database was recently reset). The game is fun, though the flying is a bit simplified, but when fighting, this just may be a good thing. I didn't do the math, but the total to unlock all four IAPs is about $7 (USD, plus the $1 to buy a license). I'm going to play a bit before buying anything, but so far, I'm enjoying myself. I usually play RPGs, but occasionally like to branch out. With owning almost all RORTOS apps, I didn't think I'd like this one (I haven't liked any other flight game), but I'm glad I tried it as I really wanted to play against others (I don't usually play online games on my tablet). Without question, though a little expensive for Android, I'm going to keep it. Believe the other good reviews, it's all true! I don't say this often about Android games, but I'm impressed.
Superb, exquisite, unbelievable The game engine is one of the best arcade flight action game engines on Android, console or PC without any doubt. The mechanics of play here are incredible in terms of ease of accessibility and difficulty curve. The multiplayer online play is fantastic and the in-app purchases - an evil invention in my view - are not too over the top. The graphics are breathtaking especially when beamed to TV (Slimport or Cast) and when coupled with a joypad this is as good as Android gaming can get. Game of the year surely
Flaw in physics, customer service absent So I noticed that there's a flaw in the physics of this game, and I was decent enough to let the developers know. But I haven't received a single word in response, so there's no customer service either. With those two points, I'd say money could be better spent elsewhere.
fixed expansion file download issues.
