Ratings and reviews

When the app is working, it's great! Like many of the more recent reviews, the app has started to stop randomly, which has become incredibly annoying. Because I like to listen to books while I drive, this has also become slightly dangerous because you have to open the app fully to restart the book instead of using my car to control it or using the sleep screen controls. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall to no avail.

The monthly subscription is worth it in my opinion. The only downside to this app in my experience is that it tends to crash on those longer listening sessions. Days that I am driving 8-10 hours, audible is running the entire time, and later in the day it will tend to crash on me. Stability needs to be improved, but otherwise the experience has been quite enjoyable. I do find it funny that the Audible intro and outro seems to be louder and lower quality than the rest of the audio books.

It's difficult to find books I want to listen to. They show books you have to pay for at the top of sections that are supposed to be free (if you have a subscription), which is annoying, and very confusing when I first started exploring that section. The most irritating thing about this app is that it frequently pauses, which makes it extremely difficult to enjoy. Even after changing to recommended battery settings, the pausing continues to be an issue.
