Would have been better if every 5 minutes I didn't have to open my phone and press play button again. There should be an offline option where it validates the book and will play with no internet. Also it would be benificial to have a way to download the books so the only internet needed is to check the licence and then you have your book. Wouldn't recommend this and once my trial is over I'm not paying anything to this company. A 8 hour book has taken me around 10 hours now with all the stopping. And I know it isn't my internet because my work has the best Internet available. The moral of my story is check audible or other audiobook apps.
For my free book i listened to odd Thomas book 2. The app is really cool and actually quite easy to navigate but...Man, $15 monthly for 1 book a month....I travel alot and can go through a book in a day or two. So, I would have to wait a month or pay extra for another book. If is was $15 month with unlimited reading and audio, it would be perfect. But I love the app and will give it a few months.
This company steals your money and then steals your credits after you cancel. They took the payment out of my bank account a week before they were supposed to. But I was going to cancel because I had not even used the last "credit" I got the month before. Then after they refunded me my money I canceled and they took the months payment i canceled STILL after they refunded me!!! And then never give me the 2nd credit for the payment they took. So apparently when you cancel with this app they have the right to take that months payment and clear the credits to get a book that you had already paid for after your account is cancelled. Lost over 20 dollars to this app. I don't recommend. Oh and I did call customer service and they said they saw no irregular activities.
I love this app. Just started listening to war crimes by Christie Golden. So so good. I can also catch up on stories I have never had the time to read when i was younger, like moby dick and Alice in wonderland. And to top it off, some of those old books are free.
I listened to Crispin. I liked the voices the reader used and the pace/tempo was perfect. It was difficult to adjust if you wanted to go back just a few minutes in time or a few pages in the audiobook, but otherwise it was a great read/listen. The recording was good and clear.
It's very easy to use with every book I could think of to download available at my fingertips. As a long-distance truck driver I have a lot of time but I'm not able to read so audio books is an absolute godsend, thank you.
