No Caterpillars I find it necessary to have an image of the caterpillar stage of butterflies and moths. There are no lists in the Caterpillar shape list. And no pics of caterpillars with the butterfly/moth images. That issue aside, I would have rated this app a 5.
Not worth the money. You have to make an account before you can even open the app, then when you try to download the offline content it stops at 28℅ and won't go any further.
Doesn't Work Will not let me log into my account. The account password has been reset three times - who knows what that has don't to access from other Audubon programs - and each time it says my it is bad information. It times out trying to submit data and each time I try again it times out faster. And it has just plain crashed. I bought it on sale and I still paid too much for this garbage.
Compatibility Confusion Why is it when I buy Audubon Apps from the Amazon store they install fine on my Sony xPeria ZL, but if I buy them in the Google Play store, it says they aren't supported and refuses to install?
Great reference. I like the app, but there is no option to store the extra downloads onto a SD card. So if you frequent areas without coverage and want the extra info you are going to have use up a lot of your internal memory.
Frustrating The description claims the "database installs directly to the SD card" but it installs to internal memory on my LGL34C phone and cannot be moved to the SD card.
Some improvements and optimizations.
