It is a nice application, I only give 3 stars as there is no support for Samsung Gear watches running Tizen. For this reason I am not using it
Like the concept of this app but not convinced of its accuracy. After I recorded a track and reviewed the stats in the summary section it says max speed was 20.1kph yet the graphs are showing spikes that exceed the 30kph mark. Also it would be great if U can upload your own photos direct to app instead of mucking around with Twitter and flickr
The app is good. The maps downloaded 1:25000 are precise. I am not getting lost any when following routes but please to make it stunning you need to add a few commercial and marketing stuff, like having a main screen when using the map view with some chosen information: altitude, distance, time... ideally to have a auto zoom function with the centre point, to allow for a closer view when going slow. There is so much to do to improve this brilliant app. I am happy to test beta version! I am a ski touring alpinist and mountain biking rider...
Generally very good. Lots of detail about your walk and clear mapping thanks to the OS material they use. One criticism - plotting routes before you take them is a bit of a clunky system. It's easy to put points in the wrong place and if you want to move around the map during the plotting process it shoots around far too fast.
Generally a very good app. I lead local walks through the Ramblers Association and one irritation is the inability to print off the route which would then be provided to a volunteer back marker.
Another update, another permission added (change network connectivity). Why are you guys too arrogant to bother justifying or explaining the constant permission creep? Edit thanks for the reply. Too bad it fails to address the question. I asked about permission creep, specifically Change Network Connectivity (at this update), but you persist in answering a different question (I do know why a GPS app needs location permission, really I do, etc).
