I use this for green lane motorcycle riding and it sits on the front of my bike on an Samsung S8+ or a Galaxy Active Tab on a Ram mount. The whole set up works really well. A bit of familiarity with paper OS maps helps but finding yourself without landmarks, bearings or a compass is really simple. It can be used over 4 devices. It is massively more intuitive than Garmin Basecamp. It is relatively easy to plan routes on, say, an IPad and then send to a Garmin Montana. This is my go to mapping and off road route planning software. The much more expensive and difficult Garmin basecamp has some minor advantages but for ease of use and price this is an excellent system.
maps are no good for mtb trail riding, you zoom so far in and parts of it are black with white lines other parts are blurred and out of focus so you cant tell wich way to go
Being using this app for a few years. Great features and excellent customer support.
I can't figure out how to use it, I can't find the help and it keeps asking me for money. Probably fine if I knew where I wanted to walk but if I knew that I wouldn't need the app.
Superb app, I would literally be lost without it when I trek in the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains. The free maps are invaluable!
im not buying a map! also why cant i use my location . im nowhere near mountains or a river so why am i seeing that in the map.
Various fixes, including disappearing map tiles in the track screen, and ignoring the don't change scale switch.
