I downloaded the OS app this morning, and hated it ! Downloaded ViewRanger and trial map of my area, set up a 4km route, went out and walked it. Couple of things I thought could have been better, solved once I discovered the settings screens. Got back home and tracked route prefect and very informative. No recourse to the help screens at all yet, but I see the app has a lot more capabilities. Now off to try the sync to pc. So far so very very good!
I've used this app for years, on symbian phones and now androids. I use it on the Foreshore, in conjunction with a tides app. The Tracks and personal favourite features are life savers in the dark or fog.
Really useful app. I downloaded this primarily to use for hiking and so far it has been awesome. I purchased some ordinance maps and the app follows the routes really well. A must app for anyone looking to explore new areas.
This app is amazing! I only use the free features and functions and it does everything I want from it and more. There are still more free features I haven't explored but I haven't needed to.
A great app, easy to use and links well with the website. The maps are really clear and detailed. The distance measured by GPS corresponds to the distance measured by my bicycle odometer - spot on!
I use it for hunting, I find it simple to use and because the app is on my phone I leave my bulky GPS in the truck.
Newly designed buttons on the map and in Skyline, to be more consistent with Android Material Design.
Various bug fixes, especially affecting POIs and app start up speed.
