The app does everything you'd expect of a walking / cycling GPS system - it allows you to create and display routes and tracks and it shows you where you are. There are user configurable displays to provide useful data about things like how far you've gone and when you're going to arrive. Routes can also be created via a web browser and downloaded to your Android / iOS / Symbian devices (as many as 4 at a time). Several useful free maps are available, though I prefer to pay for the 25K OS maps. The paid maps are available as sets or they can be downloaded a tile at a time and the cost deducted from your pre-paid credit. Just as important as the functionality, the software is being actively developed and the support is first rate!
This is an amazing app for all outdoor activities. I use it for mountain biking along with opencycle maps 'made available offline'. The online account manager will help you make the best trail on your computer (import gps, edit) and it gets readily synced with the phone. Mount it on your bike and pointer to the next way point will guide you effortlessly. I found the buddy tracking not that user friendly, i still couldn't figure out!
Pretty useless. In-app purchases MIGHT make this app useful but considering all the other app options, I wouldn't waste my money. Not user friendly. Lacks useful information.
Frustrating UI makes it difficult to know you are downloading the correct tiles for your area. Tiles should overlay on an existing map. Downloaded tiles show as a list without any useful indication where they are. I recommend to just use the free maps.
Still new to using the app but it has come in very useful for a novice like me. Plenty of free maps and fairly easy to follow.
I downloaded the app and it doesnt do anything it just shows the main screen i left the phone on for 20 minutes and nothing took it off 2x and re downloaded still nothing
