The app seems like an after thought. It struggles to stay connected so I can change settings even though I am standing less than 7" away from the lock. I tried to delete a damaged lock from my account, but since it cannot connect to it, I cannot remove it. Overall, not very well thought out-needs a lot of work before I'd considered it useful.

App is hot garbage. Have two locks. One reports battery life. The other doesn't. Wants to connect over wi-fi instead of Bluetooth even if I'm standing right next to it. When I try to use the app button to lock or unlock it constantly gives me an error message. The app will unlock but will not lock. Wish I didn't trust the security of my doors with Yale and will be looking for another company that invests in app reliability.

Most of the time, the app will never connect with the lock. I'm stuck standing outside my door waiting until I finally just reach for my keys. I'd say I can remotely unlock it about 20% of the time. This is worse than August! If it wasn't too late to return it, I absolutely would. I should mention I am using Android, since that seems to be an issue with other comments.
