Review from Frank Wiesemann
It's like a whimsical cross between Limbo and that paper doll game for Playstation. Beautifully drawn, lots of background and layers, much of which you cannot interact with, but the way the game plays, you'll keep trying. A great deal of time was spent on this game. Making it I mean. I would strongly recommend to the dev. team: make a smaller sized version if you're only going to make the first couple levels free. For a 3-level demo, this game is HUGE. Granted, I get that there's a lot of data, what with the graphics and so on, but I could have gotten the same feel for this game playing 1 level for longer, rather than having had to download this beast and only able to play it for a little less than an hour. Will be uninstalling, owi g solely to the size of it, and that I feel it lacks replay value if you don't buy it. Overall, excellent game.
Hands down, on the beat games I've played. The controls are simple (Point + Click), the animations and design is quirky and the humour is very enjoyable. However the game has just decided to not load up anymore! As soon as i exit the main menu the game turns black and i can to anything. Please help me, Dev
A strange game indeed, but charming, compelling, and beautiful nonetheless. For those unfamiliar with indie games it might seem confusing at first, but the controls become clear very quickly. The only minor downside is that the loading times are a bit slow every now and again. I hope the developer gets round to finishing the second and third installments, because I'll definitely buy them as soon as they're released.
This is the kind of game that requires a lot of experimentation and exploration for the user to properly understand what's going on. I've tried games like this where gameplay doesn't follow the usual action plus reward or punishment. There's no scoring rulew and no time limit. Just take what you get and enjoy the scenery.
This is more of a psychedelic art walkthrough than an actual puzzle game. If you want to know what a moderately unpleasant and confusing acid trip feels like, try this game. I stopped at the paywall, as the "puzzle solving" up to that point had not really been challenging or, in fact, even particularly logical. But really great effort on music and visuals. Too bad the gameplay itself was not particularly engaging.
buggy? screen seem to flicker when I tried to zoom in and out. It seems like it failed to change the frame but mess up badly that I have to exit the game. achievement doesn't work either.
This is a memorizing game, strange yes but it is just so beautifully done. I love this game. I'm always looking for different strange games and this one is right at the top. It took me awhile to find out what to do but once I did it was wonderful game play. I am a bit disappointed that there is not a follow up game yet I want to keep going and I would definitely pay for the second and third. Update, for some reason this keeps freezing, I cannot move anywhere and have to force stop the app before it will work, there have even been times where the character lands on its tail and cannot move. I have taken two stars until this is fixed, this is very inconvenient to try to play when I have to keep stopping
If you like adventure games, good music and art... this is your game.
