Review from Justin Metzger
Disappointing, Fire The Developers I gave this app another chance. It is even worse than before. Older books don't scan at all so if you are rereading something forget about seeing any AR. Hugely disappointing. New books don't scan either, or maybe I'm not picking the right books. The jump to the Marvel page isn't even formatted correctly so I can't see the lower portion of the page. WTAF Marvel you have more money than god, make an app that works. So much squandered potential. Smh
This app did work for me. I tried it out on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Avengers. Though it did work, it didn't really do enough for make me want to keep the app...
Really disappointed, wanted it to work! The idea is amazing, but when I place my HTC ONE X over the AR icon nothing happens :( I hope there is an update soon to rectify this problem. If it works after an update I will give it 5 stars.
Probably cool... If it worked...every time I try to open it it will show the Marvel logo and then crash. Wish they'd put more effort into this or incorporate it into the regular Marvel app so when I read my digital versions I can just access the AR stuff right there.
Sucks Aparently there is absolutely no reason for this app should I sign up for marvel ultimate? And get my comics digitally? Or use this as app on my non existent physical comic collection. Thanks guys!
New Update A Step Backwards Found the previous version of this app incredibly fun and useful, but the April 2014 update only shows content from the past three weeks so makes this app useful for anyone reading AR comics before then. Feels like a step backwards on Marvel's part.
Concept is cool It doesn't exactly work for me though. Every time I open the app and try to use it, the windows that pop up don't appear. All you can really see are the four corners, which are - admittedly - very nice. I'd just like to also see the information being presented to me.
