It would be perfect if it had the option for automatic drive sync. I dislike having different services for each of my activities, and file management is done through drive, so I'd prefer syncing directly there instead of needing to upload frequently and delete older files.
What a great little note taking app! I use it daily as a rough note book. My job as a SysAdmin and developer requires me to capture a lot of notes to & from my Mac and remote servers. Simplenote makes it a breeze to paste code/log snippets from here & there. Works like a charm 😊 An app from WordPress developers can never disappoint.
I've only had it for 10 minutes but it's better than I expected. I was looking for something I can launch and add a quick note (without clicking an extra step to add a txt note vs image, etc). This launches quick and is simple. Even better, I can connect to notes online. (If I type up my grocery list on the laptop, they show up in my app. Yay!)
1. Full cross platform Markdown support. Not much use if it doesn't work everywhere. 2. Full open file access with options to sync across Dropbox, Drive, Synthing, etc. and note encryption. Frankly, having the apps open source and forcing users to use your proprietary sync service across your own servers just comes across as suspicious. What do you have to gain when your apps are open and free anyway?
I loved this. Certain other note taking apps are crashing frequently and also not multi device sync.
Hate it I made a hell lot of notes i this app After few days, just to make a back up, i just created a new account in this app, all of a sudden everything disappeared. All of my notes. I tried signing out, didn't work.
* New users of the app must sign in with a Simplenote account.
* Minor UI and reliability improvements.
