About this app
CadShot Mobile offers a quick and easy way to turn a paper or fabric pattern into a CAD pattern from a photo of the pattern taken using your Android Phone or Tablet in as little as 30 seconds.
CadShot Mobile removes skew and lens distortion, then finds the edges of your pattern, and sends the photo with a polyline perimeter from your Smart Phone or Tablet to your desktop computer for final processing. The pattern can then be opened in PatternSmith for further optimization or in other CAD software for editing.
For most mobile device cameras, you can expect precision to be better than 2.0 millimeters.

CadShot Mobile Server subscription
CadShot Mobile Capture board (two sizes available)
A private WiFi connection (not designed to on public WiFi networks)
Optional: PatternSmith pattern design software for further pattern refinement.
