Ratings and reviews

I've had the few version, on various devices, over the years, including most of my Android phones. Decided, recently, to purchase the full package, and, I've got to say, I'm impressed. Easy to set up, and use. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars - the App lock can stop some apps from opening(mainly banking apps). I think it's due to a setting from the app to not allow other apps to open over it, and it pushes you into a verification loop. If you could fix that, I'd up my rating.

Advertised premium version straight after installing then again every few hours. It attempts to force user to clicking a link to go off and buy a subscription rather than simply allow user to click a decline button. It also doesn't auto scan anything, which was supposed to be available in free version according to website list of features.

Avast used to be really good, but they quietly made changes to which features were free and which features were paid for without communicating it to users. I used to have scans scheduled twice a week, but this feature became premium at some point for no good reason, and effectively left my device vulnerable because the change wasn't communicated. This feature should go back to being free.
