Used to love this app, enough to actually pay for it. But the latest "update" has removed it's most useful feature - I can no longer set connection rules. This makes the app no better than a free toy and is a massive backwards step. If this is the direction Avast are taking from now on, my subscription won't be getting renewed. In all honesty this seems like a good reason to request a refund as the tool I paid for has been taken away.
Since the latest update, it doesn't auto connect when the phone connects to wifi. Very annoying. Also the connection settings have gone, which allowed you to have certain trusted wifi have no VPN action taken. Very disappointing and appears to be a downgrade not an upgrade to the app. Wish I hadn't paid for this now. Before the update, this vpn app was good.
Extremely disappointed by the latest update which removed SSID based auto connect and even more disappointed by the lack of response to my customer care tickets. Initially they said that they don't have a record of my purchases. And then after furnishing proof of purchase going back 2 years, they stopped responding. I will be canceling my subscription and will be in the market for SSID based auto connect VPNs for a reasonable subscription fee.
Broken upgrade. Most of the previously-available options have disappeared; it's just down to a single button (no idea what button as it's a white button labelled in white). Did anyone test this before release? I signed up for the free trial on the previous version of this. If it's not fixed in 3 days (when the trial ends) I'm certainly cancelling. [Edit] Now cancelled. I'm not about to enter into a long dialogue with support and pay for an app which was good until it was "improved".
Worked fine until recent update. Until you roll back the terrible update which took away all useful functionality like selecting servers/regions, I'm uninstalling. And I just cancelled my yearly subscription. I put in a trouble ticket last week, but no help came. Too bad Avast... You used to have a good reputation and I used to like your products. Not any more. Now I'm moving to a more reliable VPN service for all my devices.
I've been a paying subscriber to this for quite some time now. Until this last update, it worked great. I'm having alot of issues with it synchronizing and actually staying connected. I have it configured in settings for it to automatically reconnect however it doesn't do this anymore until I tell it to do so every single time after waking up from standby. This issue is happening now on all of my devices that I use it on. Please fix this problem in new update and concentrate on keeping your current paying subscribers and stop putting so much emphasis on gaining new iOS subscribers. You're losing focus folks and soon to lose loyal customers instead of gaining new ones.
