The app was never very responsive. But since the last update you are forced to see ads every time you open the app. Since the ads are positioned in the middle of the screen, where the device control panel used to be, you now have to scroll down those ads to reach the devices you want to access, which makes the app very annoying to use. There is no way to turn the ads off.

I've used this app for a year or so and it was working fine until a couple of weeks ago. I can no longer control my light bulbs through Alexa and even the Avatar Controls app itself struggles to connect straight away.

The app is not very intuitive, throws popups that require pointlessly clicking on "ok". The widgets are unnecessarily big. Dear devs, please allow smaller widgets! P.S. notice that the app was last updated about a year ago. That's a warning sign. Edit: with the early June 2023 update the app has become worse. The widgets have become even bigger and I can't find the shortcuts I had created. Also, notice that most of the 5 star reviews are fake!
