Love it. I now have two lamps on Avi-on timers. Far better than free old mechanical timers. For security reasons, I like that these use Bluetooth only, and are not WiFi IOT devices. I wish that each device had a few more schedule slots. My only complaint would be the time it takes to connect to devices when I open the app, but that could just be a Bluetooth thing.
Don't waste your time and money! I submitted a ticket as they suggested and haven't heard back. Not only does the product not work but they don't seem to care about customer service either.
Have successfully been using the app with five of your devices and been please. Now you have updated your app and I started to update one device and it locked up at 54%. Now the app will not connect anymore and devices don't work at all anymore. They won't even stay on manually. We have three rooms with light switches that we can't even turn on manually anymore. And don't tell me to get a ticket. There are too many other people having the same problem. It's your new update for the app that's the problem. Fix it. Ok. A new update (10/16/2017). I submitted a support ticket almost two months ago and still haven't received an answer. So this app update is useless and support for it is also non existent. I guess they don't care. Any new buyers beware!!!!! A new update, 10/27/2017 and still doesn't work!! A new useless update here in November. Still can't login to my account. And still haven't heard anything from my submitted support ticket.
Atrocious waste of time. Installation fine at first, seemed okay, light worked...and then i adjusted the schedule...After that it stopped working, with no indication why. "Learn the Avi on difference" says the website. Just sales stuff with no help for installation problems. You have shop, avi on pro, manufacturers and about us - no help, or support. Scroll down for other unsupported devices and "happy customers" then eventually Support. But it is ueless! "Device no longer functions" fits my description but I'm told this is rare and due to brown outs. Then a number of other options not explained properly. Orange exclamation mark on your device schedule? Red exclamation mark? No explanation... NO, this is a badly thought out website for a badly thought out device, cheaply made and only returnable to the manufacturere of course...
Same as all the other complaints this product won't connect to the switch. Don't waste your money.
Wish I would have seen all of these reviews before buying this device impulsively. After a week's worth of repeated attempts to connect this device, it still has not connected. I keep getting the same error messages telling me what I need to do, all of which I have already done to remedy the situation. And yet it still cannot find my network. This piece of junk is going back to Home Depot as soon as I can drive the 65 miles back to the store where I bought it.
