Ratings and reviews

The updated radar map is now hard to see. The white background with the thin blue stare borders makes it difficult to see where exactly you ate, especially when you're in a storm close to state borders. The +- zoom feature is gone so you have to use the screen all the time which sucks at times. And highway and route numbers are small and hard to see. But when you zoom to get a closer look, the highway and route numbers shrink to maintain the same size as you zoom! The new map sucks!

The ads keep coming back, after every release and there's no way to save/load my configurations. If the app wasn't so good I'd stop. buying it. But I'm giving it a lousy review because they can't fix their install process. I'd sent them an email several times, their response was always to say "reinstall", which basically blames Android. Here in 2023, it's still doing this, which is a real pain since there's no way to save/load the configuration.

Dec 6, 2023 When I open the weatherbug app on my android phone the small map on the opening screen does not update. When I open the "Maps" page I can pinch to zoome but it may not work at or well. Nov 18, 2023 review update. Latest update is a step back. Can't pinch zoom the map. Small map not updating. Previous review... I don't like weather apps that offer scrolling to see all of the information (radar, forecast, etc.). I like this app because I can click on the map from he home screen.
