Ratings and reviews

I had been using this app for years, that is, until the weather maps were changed. I would turn down the opacity of the radar images so I could see the underlying map, but every time I reopened the app, it would reset. I sent feedback to the company, and they actually responded and listened! The opacity setting is now retained after reopening the app. The general look and usefulness of the maps are much better, again.

A feature was recently added that I loved where the options bar at the bottom had been slightly modified and allowed for radar playback while navigating through different areas of the radar and while zooming in/out. Now, with the latest update, that newer feature is gone and the app has reverted back to the old. If I zoom in/out during playback, playback stops. Also, it is frustrating that I cannot turn off notifications for locations AFTER I've added them.

The radar/map is back to being difficult to maneuver around in. The maps are not as clear and the font is tiny. Disappointing return to the "update" from August. See below for previous comments. My 9/9/23 updated review: I changed my rating to 5 because I love the map on Weatherbug- and it's back to having the features that make it easy to use and see. Love it!! I wrote on 8-21-23: Prior to the last update, the best thing about WeatherBug was the Maps. Now they look like any other app.
