Good app but lacking in a few areas This app is working for me so far. I wanted to go and see my chart on the website but it asks for a unique ID and when I pressed the graph the ID field was just completely blank. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it never shows up, I'm disappointed in that alone. Otherwise it's a great app that is helping me to quit from being a 30 year smoker at 2 packs a day. Down to 1 pack a day :)
Great App I just got the app today and so far so good. I just have a couple requests. There should be a best time, that shows the longest amount of time you've gone between cigarettes. Also, a sleep option. There is the "reset time of day" thing, but I don't think it should count while you're sleeping. I don't know. I'm still trying to figure this thing out. Right now, I'm using this app and "Cigarette Counter Assistant" at the same time to give me what I want and to see which is better.
Best quit smoking app This is the only quit smoking app that has a step down process. All others I tried only offer the ability to track stats AFTER you have actually quit, pointless! Has widgets that allow you to view the time since your last cigarette and how many you have left to smoke throughout the day, plus stats. Each day you can lower the quota of cigs you are allowing yourself to smoke each and every day. The tiny widget you can hit each time u smoke and it displays the time since your last one and how many u have left.
It' a pretty good app. The one thing I think is missing is the ability to retroactively add smoking events. If you try to record the cigarettes you've smoked while not having access to the app, it will just assume you're chain smoking. Not that great for stay at home devices.
Not done yet If this really works I'll be back to post. Just using it is giving me some insight into how I smoke, and I think it will make this easier. All, I think I should write down why I want to quit, what my smoking triggers are, etc. Then figure out alternatives to smoking. Wish me luck!
So NOT "Gradual". Might be good if you wanted a very quick taper before quitting. Otherwise, the developer should consider adding slower taper options. Much slower in my case. The important thing is that I -successfully- quit smoking, even if it takes me a bit longer. On to the next quit app.
