This app is very good. It is extremely useful. I enjoy waking up to the birds, personally, and due to a sleep disorder, I don't think it would be wise for me to be listening to flowing water while in bed asleep. I wake up feeling refreshed, and enjoy analysing the depth of my sleep. The ads are irritating, but can be bypassed.
This alarm works great, but it should be noted that it is not magic! It helps wake you up much better than a regular alarm, but if you are exhausted it can't fix that. It can only wake you up at a time that you naturally feel more awake. If that makes sense.
Wakes me up gently, like magic! The best motion-tracking alarm I've tried, hands down. Thank you so much for keeping it free.
I do not mind seeing ads when it provides this beautiful function for free. But I do mind when the ad is placed between the start button and the actual start and the next morning when I woke up late and found it did not alarm because it was on the ad page and never started.
They've added an ad that automatically starts a Mobile Strike "mini game," I'm removing it. I don't have "Mobile Strike" nor do I want to be forced to play it via an "ad." The ad took so long to load that I didn't know what was going on, and already had my phone face down. It basically burned up my battery during the night and used all my RAM so that the real app didn't even function. It happened another time, and when I tried to cancel the mini game ad, it took me to the Mobile Strike purchase page instead. Regular ads are fine; this sort of thing is deplorable. It used to be my go-to sleep app. But it seems to be doing a worse and worse job of accurately taking my sleep. It often does not register when I actually wake up in the night.
Now, either I'm missing something obvious here, or the little "set alarm time" widget (seen as the first screenshot here) was created with the explicit goal of looking rather nice but ultimately being completely useless. The 'minimum' time you can drag the clock time to is the present time. One notch below that, and it skips 12 hours. Let me explain; let's say it's 1:30pm and I want to do something craaazy like set an alarm for 8:30am... I know, nuts, but bear with me. Now you might think I can just drag the little notch from 1:30pm(13:30 as it displays) down 5 hours to 8:30... But no. Apparently this 24hr clock only supports a 12 hour window. If I drag it down from 13:30, instead of it going 12, 11, 10 and so on, it goes directly to 1:30am... So if you happen to be using this app AFTER the time you'd like it to wake you up, then you're fresh out of luck! This is the dumbest user experience I've ever had in an app. It's absolutely ridiculous.
