About this app

The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless. Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books (yes you can repeat books) before your precious one starts kindergarten. Does it sound hard? Not really if you think about it. If you read just 1 book a night, you will have read about 365 books in a year. That is 730 books in two years and 1,095 books in three years. If you consider that most children start kindergarten at around 5 years of age, you have more time than you think (so get started).

Great program, great app. Started using the app a year+ ago and it was ok, but they have made some really excellent changes to functionality. Really easy to track what you've read. We cheer at the milestones, and I explained to my toddler how important reading is, and that we are tracking it, so he is excited to be able to see what he's read. He will even clue me in when other caregivers have done his bed time stories. if you're hesitant because 1,000 sounds like a lot, the app really helps

Since the update this app has been working alot better, I am able to add new books and mark them as read almost simultaneously which is great! The only issues I have noticed is sometimes my husbands app and mine are not updating properly so we may loose a book. I do like how easy it is to scan books but I wish it would give me the option to scan a book thats already in my library and mark it as read rather than telling me its already in my library and making me back out and search for it.

Love the program, the app needs a LOT of work. Asside from the fact that it's slow to load and crashes a lot it's a lot of steps to deal with. I like the concept of the 'library' but I would love to see a progress selection for longer/# in 1 books and a way to track how many times a book as been read. It would also be very nice to be able to click finished reading when you scan a new book in. My child loves story's and will go thru 3-5 a night then we scan after reading so I takes lots of time
