Good app, makes learning Indonesian relatively easy but lacks lessons. The app itself is well designed allowing offline downloads of lessons. I have found learning Indonesian using Babel relatively easy however I quickly ran out of lessons within just over a month. I am still progressing through vocabulary lists but they are not in the context of sentences. There are only 2 beginner courses, no intermediate or advanced levels. Check the Babel website before subscribing to more than 3 months. You cannot learn to speak Indonesian conversationally with this app.
Can't use in android AND have to pay! After the first basic lesson i registered and it says needs adobe flash which android does't support: so can only use in PC. Then even so, after the first lesson you have to pay. Stupid. If i don't receive sensible reply i will uninstall and blog negative criticisms.
I enjoy this. My lover is Indonesian and Babel has made learning so much fun. I will continue to subscribe to this app til I am fluent.
Learn a language anywhere Really like babel. Whenever i want i can do a lesson :-)
Subscription only Only the first lesson is free, and it doesn't really explain the vocabulary. But at least it explains the situational use of the phrases. Good app, but needs more features if I'm gonna pay.
Hugs, not bugs.
That’s what we’d prefer. Unfortunately, bugs happen. So, in those rare moments we’re not enjoying the warm embrace of a hug, we’re working hard to fix what needs to be fixed and introducing new features that improve your learning experience.
