About this app

Babylon gives you access to a doctor or nurse practitioner through select health plans. You can use our health services to book a video appointment with a healthcare provider 24/7, at no cost to you.

Simply download the Babylon app and enter the code provided by your health plan to get started.

How does it work?

VIDEO APPOINTMENTS (for select health plans)
Choose the time and place for your appointment. Just pick a time slot and a healthcare provider will connect with you then. Babylon video appointments are available at no cost through select health plans.

How can it help?

The healthcare providers available through the Babylon app can help care for allergies, congestion, cough, fever, flu, mental health, pain, rashes, upset stomach & more. They can also help with prescriptions, specialist referrals, labs, and behavioral health.

Our health services allow you to speak to a healthcare provider via the Babylon app at no cost through select health plans (see details below).

New York Users: New York Telemedicine Associates, available through the Babylon app, are now part of Mount Sinai Health Partners. Members of the following health plans are eligible: Humana Medicare Advantage, Empire BlueCross BlueShield Commercial, Empire BlueCross BlueShield Medicare Advantage, Oscar Commercial, and Cigna Commercial. Enter the code NYC when registering.

California Users: California Telemedicine Associates is available through the Babylon health services through certain health plans. Please check with your health plan for the applicable code.

Missouri, Iowa and Nevada Users: Your health plan will notify you if Babylon’s telemedicine services are covered.

Can I use a free version?

If you don’t have access to Babylon Video Appointments through your health plan, you can still get exclusive access to our Symptom Checker and Healthcheck.

Describe your symptoms, and then we will ask questions related to your symptoms and health, so it can help you decide what to do next. It can provide information about most issues that primary care providers tend to see.

Used to work, now I can't get the video call to work. The provider has tried to called couple days and it won't go through and there's not a way to message them to let them know the video isn't popping up on my phone to answer it. Luckily one provider just tried the calling feature instead and that worked but no one else has and just cancels the appt and there's no way for me to let them know.

Need to add Samsung devices for health tracking. I use the Samsung Gear3 watch, but it is not in the list. It has most of the monitors listed in this app. I like it better than the stand-alone devices because it is also a phone and helps keep me from accidentally leaving my cell phone somewhere. I'm not interested in wearing a different device.

When it works, it's great. I've had too many instances of the app glitching and either not connecting or dropping the connection during an appointment. I've redownloaded the app several times, but issues still haven't been fixed. Would love to see those issues fixed so my appointments run smoothly. It's a critical function. UPDATE: Glitches have been fixed and haven't had an interrupted session recently.
