Ratings and reviews

Great way to study French. I love reading and staying on top of the news, and now I do it in French, with the help of Google Translate. If you have Google Translate installed on your Android phone, you can just drag over the words, phrases, sentences. You can even listen to the paragraph read aloud after you've read it. And you can take a screenshot of those heading sections that can't be highlighted, then upload the pic to Translate. Great free news app, with not too many ads.

Have reached the end of Duolingo's French course and I can read and understand 99 percent of the words used on this site. Right at my level to give me reading and listening material without paying subscriptions and it will reinforce what I have learned and keep me abreast of the news at the same time. I can use Google Translate and simply press on any words or expressions I don't understand to do so. I shall be using this application every day. Top Marks! Cette application est très utile!

I'm a native English speaker learning French. This app is perfect because it gives me a lot to read, and I feel like everything is at a nice, comfortable B1 or B2 level. As for the news itself, it's nice seeing news articles written outside of America. Recommended for any one learning French.
