Who can use the app:

EyeOnWater is available to customers of supported utilities. Enter your water account number and zip code after downloading the app to see if your water utility is supported.

Water usage information is provided by your utility through BEACON Customer Engagement, a service from Badger Meter, Inc. Please note that not all water companies offer EyeOnWater. Additionally, if your utility offers EyeOnWater but your specific account cannot be found, contact your water utility’s customer service for assistance or to request that your account be added.

I love this app. Long story short, my water bill went from an avg of $55-$60 per month during winter to roughly $125-$150 during peak summer months for irrigation. Now I'm paying $200, then $290, then $390 and I was flabbergasted. So I called L.T.W.D and asked why my bills were skyrocketing and they suggested this app. I had a leak and didn't know it. I figured out where the leak was coming from thanks to this app. Sure wish I knew sooner because 291,392 gallons were wasted. Get it NOW!

This app was forced on me when the City installed it. I was already using Flume, which gave real-time tracking. EyeOnWater updates at intervals, so it’s less useful. I do like being able to monitor usage and avoid surprise leaks and high bills. However, there’s no option to set usage alerts or budget warnings to prevent overwatering. Overall, it feels like a step down, even if it may be more accurate.

App hasn't been showing any usage since July 2022. What is the point of having an app to check your meter...if the app isn't working?! I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still doesn't work. I actually like being able to track and monitor my household's water usage. I also like knowing if there is a leak so I don't get hit with a huge water bill and the leak can be found and fixed. Pointless app at this point unless it is fixed.
