I just got the app and so far I really like it. It understands what I say. Other apps I have had don't understand and you have to be careful and see what is written. Also this app still understands when there is background noise. Still gets it right. Having the handy keyboard is great for when you don't want others to hear what your sending or doing your passwords. I love this app!
Its great to be able to text hands free although the word recognition is about 80% accurate. Considering I don't have an accent, I would like it to have a more extensive vocabulary for plain English. It often locks up and freezes when I need it most in the car. I'm using this recognition right now as I type this review. Overall, I highly recommend it, although it does need a few updates.
Love, this app. I'm writing this review from the app right now. I didn't have to correct any of the words or spelling.. Love this app because I can use it in all of my apps that require me to type. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. PS. Please upload the full information on this app so that Norton will give you a SAFE rating. Right now, Norton shows you as No Information. I don't usually download anything that Norton hasn't given a SAFE rating. But still love the app.
I would give 5 stars if the keyboard performed to expectations, but sadly this isn't the case. So 4 stars for the best voice dictation found thus far by my experience. If you are looking for the best keyboard, try Swiftkey. The prediction and error correction on this one doesn't come close. I use both for this reason alone. TalkType for voice dictation, Swiftkey for keyboard typing.
Makes hands free, very easy. I like that you can change the color of the keyboard. And I think it gets pretty close to what I'm saying. The only thing I would hope to change is that you could use it without being connected to wifi or data. Keep up the good work, guys.
I've only had this installed on my phone for 2 days. But so far, I really like it. I'm able to talk for an extended time without record button shutting down, which is one of the problems I've had with other apps like this. Also I like the fact that I'm able to tap the punctuation marks as I speak. It also automatically places punctuation marks, and is pretty accurate at doing that. This review has been done using the talk text app.
