You need to actually tap on the Dumpster app and make sure it's opened. Otherwise, deleted stuff does not go to the "dumpster." So it's not quite like a recycle bin on a PC. You never have to click on the bin on your desktop to make sure it's doing it's job. Unless, there is a setting somewhere that I'm missing. If so, please advise.
It's a great app for what it does. But it downloaded malware on to my phone that would force adds to appear whenever I ran any program (to include GPS which causes a lot of issues...) it took me 3 days to finally figure out what caused it and when I deleted this app it went away. That being said I don't recommend this app because of what happened.
I considered this to a 5 star app and then they did their latest upgrade and removed the batch delete function. This was one of the best aspects of this app and now it is gone. It is not even an option in settings. I had to remove at least one star for that. It may be worth a 2 star reduction but I really do like the app otherwise so I left it at just one star less.
What a stupidity in advertisements on this app, whether the phone is on silent mode or not, the video ad starts with full music. Is the person is in meeting, he just have nothing but to get embarrassed with that.
Worst app... By mistake meri pics delete ho gyi thi ab vo pics mujhe restore karni thi or isme to jo pic abhi maine delete ki h vo aayi h pehle ki pics nhi aarahi h.... Never download it
I liked the older version from a few years ago, but this one works great too. It's come in handy many times when my phone has decided to flip out and delete things it shouldn't have. So I think that it's very useful.
