I got this app after getting fed up with how large the Google app is, which you need to run Google podcasts. This is very nearly just as good. The only things I miss are the elapsed time of the podcast on my lock screen, and the release date of the podcasts when selecting to download. It only displays the age of the podcast. So when I am stocking up on old releases of a podcast that are years old, they all simply say how many years old, which makes it slower to find where I left off.

It do be nice! I love the amount of customization that it lets you do. As said by others, the UI is a bit unique, but I think its unique in the good way: if you take a short amount of time to learn the gist of it, there is more potential to do a multitude of things with this app than you normally would with others. Major props to the developer(s), the app is great!

Best podcast app ever! After several years, this app continues to crush it. It is easy to use. Each setting has a clear description. It is super easy to customize your podcast library and adjust features for each individual show. There have been a couple of minor bugs over the years and the developer is ALWAYS responsive and provides resolution or work arounds until the next update is pushed out.
