Great Couldn't be happier with App!
All the podcast in one place :)
Excellent app, better than the competition I downloaded a few different podcast apps before this one, but this one is the best. You can customize the layout, change playback behavior, and even boost volume which is great if you're working outside without headphones. It also has an amazing library of podcast feeds! I listen to some obscure ones, some that I haven't been able to subscribe to with other apps. I don't know how they do it, but it seems like they have everything. Really this is a must have for any podcast enthusiast.
Great app, memory hog though I really like the interface, but it uses a tremendous amount of storage space in ways that are opaque to the user. When I first deleted it, my phone said it was using 3.5Gb of storage for app data, which didn't make any sense because I didn't have any podcasts shown as "downloaded" at the time. From what I can tell, any subscription take up quite a lot space even if no podcasts are ever downloaded. It is not apparent to the user why this much space is needed.
Great Podcast App Lots of great functionality like speed adjustment, specific updating and deletion rules, and a very comprehensive search database which includes Soundcloud integration. I don't know if I'd be as heavily into podcasts if this app didn't exist. The only feature I wish it had was an alarm clock so that I could queue up the news first thing in the morning! Besides that, I can't think of another thing I'd want from it.
I have tried so hard to like it... Something just isn't right Man... All I am trying to do is have the small handful of podcasts I listen to 1)update automatically 2) download these updates automatically via WiFi in the am while at home so I can listen to them throughout the day while out and about 3) get them added I to a queue automatically in an order that makes sense. So far, despite being fairly computer literate and the app possessing the settings to presumably accomplish all of these tasks easily, I have succeeded at none of them. Moving on I guess
