I've been using this for a while, and it just gets better and better. Truly a gem of the Android app ecosystem. Much more flexible than competing podcast apps. The UI can definitely be a bit overwhelming, but it's worth the investment of time to tailor it to your needs.

Very good app for streaming or downloading podcast, but after the most recent update i most of my podcasts havent been updating even though new episodes have come out and when i try and downloading them just doesnt work anymore it says the file type is non compatable when i had listened to the same cast a few weeks prior to the update. Is there any way to revert to a previous version? I dont know what happened but i cant use my most used/favorite app anymore:(

Great app! Sooo many features. It *WORKS*!! But more than that, it works WELL. Love the radio streaming too! When I got a new phone I simply restored the backed up database and all my podcasts were ready to go again! Very thankful! I subscribe to some that are constantly on the quiet side so I set the volume boost option for those podcasts only to avoid getting blasted out by the next one in the playlist. Thanks heaps!

It would be great and gas so many podcasts to chose from but the app regularly just shuts off. I've gone into settings and allowed it to keep playing when the phone is off but regardless, it constantly turns off which is a bit annoying.

The best! I listen to a LOT of podcasts, and this is probably the most frequently used app on my phone. After my phone software updated this week I found myself temporarily unable to open it. I tried downloading some similar apps, and they were clunky and extremely frustrating by comparison. I was SO relieved when I reinstalled and was able to use my beloved podcast app again! My only word of constructive criticism: The interface could be more attractive.

The app displays the full content of the RSS feeds you subscribed to. It will always display the last published content after an update. From what you describe it looks like your ISP/hotspot is blocking the content, preventing the update and forcing the app to download dummy files. Great for keeping track of podcasts and has every podcast I've wanted to listen to. However the UI is kinda rubbish when trying to sort through epesodes for searching for new podcasts.

This is still my favorite podcast app. Well supported and useful features. The silence skip combined with fast playback makes listening even more enjoyable. Fast playback works on video, too. Restoring to a new phone is easy and since I download podcast episodes to my SD card, they also move with me (after editing an application config file to point to the new location name).

In general I love this app, it has everything I'm looking for in a podcast app- offline playback, to play queue, and the ability to change the playback speed. However in Android Auto, I need to play audio off another app before I can get any audio from this app when it's plugged in each time, and recently the audio has started cutting out randomly causing me to have to switch apps then return, which is becoming a huge pain. I've contacted the developer and he responded quickly and worked with me but he was unable to see any problems in the log files. Other apps don't have any problems playing audio via AA, and this has been going on for months.

I was on the lookout for a good, free Podcast Player and this was definetly a hit. Functionality wise: Perfect. The design is mediocre but I'm willing to accept that. Overall: Very happy with the download!

It's ok. It's easy to get "lost" in the menus and screens, and it sometimes spontaneously stops playing. Podcasts do not reliably update automatically.

Playback will stop if the connection is lost while playing, if the headset/BT receiver disconnects, if another app asks for audio focus or if the app get killed. The app shows the content of the RSS feeds you subscribe to. If pressing on the update button doesn't show new content it looks like that nothing new has been published. Please send me an email with more detail so I can check the feeds (Settings/feedback) Thanks

This is a really great podcast app, the best one available for Android, in my opinion, and the only free app I've ever paid for. The only issue is that the UI could be better but its functionality eclipses it. The developer is amazing for updating the app, which is a rarity.

This is my go-to podcast app. When I got a new phone I decided to try a different app to see what else was out there. I picked one off the suggested screen and gave it a whirl. 2 days later it was uninstalled and PA was reinstalled.
