Ratings and reviews

After quitting Spotify I looked around at quite a few alternative podcast apps and this is easily the best one I've seen. The main draw is that its absolutely loaded with useful features and customization. It really feels like you can lay out any feed or playlist exactly the way that you want to see it, and you can do that for every individual podcast you listen to. I didn't even hesitate to pay for the ad-free version, I think something this well made really deserves the support.

I've been using the app for about a decade now and while it's great, the continual lack of "back" functionality is astounding. Pressing the back button just closes the app. It's pretty baffling. EDIT: Despite the developer feedback to this review, the back button does NOT go back another page. It always exits the app. If you're on episode #354 and need to go back, get ready to reset the entire thing. This would be so easy to fix.

Mostly good, but some connectivity issues. Very often streaming is interrupted and I get a message saying there is no WiFi connection (although my WiFi is fine). I have to restart phone to get it working again, which is quite annoying if it happens a lot. Edit: re the developer's comment, this problem doesn't happen with other streaming apps.
