Simple, aesthetically pleasing, and fun. The only thing I would change is to have a way to select a number and then the cells (particularly when noting the numbers possible in various cells). There are ads, like every free game app, but they are remarkably not annoying like some others I've seen.
Fun game. I've played a lot of different sudoku games and apps and this one is definitely one of the best free apps I've found. My only complaint is that you can't highlight like numbers by clicking on the numbers in the number line at the bottom of the screen i.e. clicking on the number 1 in the number line would highlight all number 1s already placed on the board while dimming the rest of the numbers. It allows you to highlight like numbers already on the board by selecting a number from the board, but I think that the controls would be more convenient and allow you to solve more quickly if this could be done from the number line at the bottom as well. I have used many other sudoku apps that allow you to select/see like numbers this way and I feel like it is easier to use this way. But otherwise no complaints, good app.
My favorite Sudoku app in the Play Store. Controls are simple and it's a good-looking game. Love the customization as far as colors go. I made a complaint previously about the game causing my phone to restart, they were quick to respond with an update that fixed the issue.
It's great. I've tried quite a few sudoku apps, and this one is one of the best. Challenging but entertaining in all the right ways. It's easy to get immersed in the game. The only reason for 4 stars is because this app is a battery drain, makes my phone run hot and laggy after a while. I can't play it for long stretches at a time.
It's the classic sudoku game but with pretty colors. Never underestimate the importance of pretty colors. Aside from that, the controls are nice and simple and the auto complete feature is extremely convenient. There are only a few improvements I would suggest. First and foremost, an undo button. I'm clumsy and I keep accidentally hitting the wrong number. It'd be great if there were an easy way to undo my clumsiness. There are also a few minor bugs here and there. When you restart a puzzle, the numbers at the bottom don't repopulate. It's definitely not a dealbreaker though. Overall, it's a clean and easy-to-use version of sudoku. And pretty.
The one thing I wish were different about this game is that the notes automatically disappear when you fill in a box that eliminates one of the possibilities you noted--I would rather think it through myself! You can also "cheat" because it only lets you erase wrong answers--again, I wish it didn't have those advantages because you don't have them when doing Sudoku on paper!
