Gacha rates are bad. Awful. You can waste so much money on it and still not get featured heroes. Good luck with that. You will need it. I would also like to point out that the event difficulties may be unfair to those who are new and to those who can't get a strong party. Other than that, I guess it is a great game for Tales of fans.
I just wasted $40 on this damn game, before spending i had a nice profile and was about to spend the gems i had bought and the game updated, everything was gone, the gems, the profile, everything. In no way did the game warn me about the data transfer code. So i basically donated $40 to a stupid phone game.
It's fun and addicting, and as a longtime fan of the series, I was really excited to play it the first chance. Though the app file size takes a lot of space, I sincerely love the gameplay, the challenges, the events, and most especially the localization of the game. I remember having to wait for helpful fan-translated materials just to get by to the older releases. However, I hope the price of Hero Stones would be cheaper for, say, 14pcs in my local currency.
I love this app but my app somehow slows down then crashes only if my tablet is in too much heat. Can you add a settings that can reduce the graphic quality? so the less chance it would crash
It's boring and repetitive, plus the gachas are terrible. 50 crystals (which are hard to get) gets you 11 rolls, but good luck getting two of the same character with how often they change. Events are difficult w/o a strong party and not worth the effort since the rewards are sub-par unless you have said party. I keep logging in to get the daily bonus, but I haven't actually played the game in days because it's too monotonous and not worth my time. If they made getting multiples of the same character slightly easier and made the game less grindy, I might recommend it. One star for gameplay, one star for visuals.
chaotic and bad gameplay. too bad such a great series got such a bad smartphone version. would be happier if they stayed more true to the original gameplay from snes or ps1. this way I just dislike it. failed attempt. next please!
