It's an amazing DAW for beginners on a budget. A couple issues though. First, the ads are a bit too intrusive. It gets old sitting though an unstoppable ad every time I want to open the studio. Second, if I exit a sample pack and go back, it doesn't stay in the pack forcing me to search for it all over again. Finally, I started using BandLab because I was tired of features and plugins being blocked behind a paywall. It has become a much less enjoyable experience seeing this change in BandLab.

Everything works great except for one tiny little thing; Used this for two hours building a drum track for something I recorded on guitar. everything sounded great. bumped the back button and a prompt popped up saying I was closing the project and asking if I'd like to save. "Oh my yes, good idea, I haven't saved since I started!" I select the save option *big dialogue box pops up, "saving"* Back at the menu I go to my projects.. Empty except for the test I made before starting.

it is really really fun and easy to use. I use it to record metal songs and stuff like that and it works really well. I like the drum machine because I don't play drums. the only thing it needs is more time signatures. it currently doesn't have 7/8 time signatures and that makes it hard to record a lot of my guitar riffs that would be in 7/8. so PLEASE ADD 7/8 PLEEEASE. other than that, I'm happy with it.
