Moto G does not function well with the new OS I have had more issues than ever since I upgraded to the new OS. Apps crash more, Motorola Assist is almost worthless, notifications do not always ring, the list goes on. I can't afford a new phone right now, especially from Republic wireless because you pay essentially full price for the phone. I like the monthly rates, but I am not impressed with my phone now.
Cheap, reliable cell service Cell service is cheap, but still reliable, and for the small amounts of data I need when I am not on WiFi this is the perfect plan for me. Refunds on unused GB data is icing on the cake.
Been pretty great.... EXCEPT 6-7-16: Update- ok guys, what's going on, now? Why does my alarm options suddenly prevent my from using my customized ringtones for the alarm sound?? Y'all just made a recent update that changed the features of the power button. Now it only shuts down where as before it used to offer me options like volume control and airplane mode. It was so convenient. Now it's a pain to change those features. Please change it back.
Loves it Great service, great pricing, great app. Love seeing the data usage breakdown of all my apps.
Ok service for the price I can't get YouMail to work, there's no option to block spam or other unwanted calls/texts, the Republic voicemail isn't in my time zone, and text/phone picks and chooses when it wants to work.
It is good at times... I am going to stay with Republic but I am slowly losing desire to stay. My wife's new phone (moto g) has been terrible. The new update causes her phone to freeze on a regular basis. The 3g hardly worked for her. I am content with the $10 plan but even my phone has had camera and app issues since lollipop. My wife has since switched. I love the price but Republic offers low quality phones and quirky service.
