Bug fixes didn't work Ever since I updated to the newest version my calls don't dial, texts don't send and my phone freezes constantly!!
Great plan, bad cellphones The cheapness of the plans is great, and the idea of using WiFi and cell coverage is fantastic. My biggest issue is that the phones must be "specially built", (while I don't doubt that is possibly necessary), and the only phones that can be used are old models, and old models have poorer quality. I am sick of my camera and speakers. I will say, I really like what Republic is doing, but I question sticking with them.
Change Wow. You guys have been great. While I'm no longer in need of the 5gb plan I had, I am highly disappointed to see the plans change and the client be affected in a negative way. I am dropping two stars because of this but still giving you 3 stars because you guys have been good to us. Those new plans though make me cringe.
It's a lo e hate relationship. I just got the phone and when I started using it, it worked perfectly and smoothly. For the past few days however, it won't let me make calls or send text. I'm not sure if it is my fault or theirs.
You get what you pay for I guess... Overall I am just happy to be able to have a smartphone and an affordable no-contract plan. It works good enough most of the time. I am disappointed that I can't send or receive photos on messenger. My phone also drops calls quite frequently in my new house. Never happened at my old house. Don't know what's different.
RW has been solid. Republic loves WiFi but use Sprint when they have to, so it may not be for you if you're off Wifi a lot. I've been on the $25 plan for two years w/ my 2013 Moto X and have only a few complaints. There are definitely a few bugs in their system here and there, but in my experience it hasn't been anything deal breaking. The new plans aren't better for everybody, meaning this service is good for a user that doesn't use a ton of data, but will NOT fit everyone's lifestyle.
- Made labels clickable in Floating Action Button.
- Refined colors and alignment in main Republic notification.
- Removed 'Buy more data' option when on WiFi only plan.
- Fixed bug where amount of data bought shown on metered cell screen was incorrect.
- Several small bug fixes and stability enhancements.
