Love them I used to love my RW phone. But it has gone downhill fast. You get what you pay for. I've been a customer for 3 years but after the holidays I'll be moving on. The calls take too long to go through (4+ minutes). MMS shuts down.
Republic Wireless - No Problems I don't have any of the problems some of these people talk about, love my service, I have my own phone - moto x, use battery doctor, and clean sweep. Texts and calls go right through, 5 bucks a month can't be beat!
What happened? It won't call a person when I tap them and I'll then have to wait 5-10 minutes for it to start calling. It says that it's sending my messages but sometimes it won't send at all or send it several times. My phone also keeps restarting all the time. I have to keep turning it back on because it's always restarting.
Overall it's a decent plan and phone. You get what you pay for though. It doesn't quite keep up with other carriers as far as speed and reliability, but I love the savings and it definitely serves its purpose well enough.
Drops calls all the time I get why its so affordable now. I'm getting what I pay for. Don't get this if you make a lot of calls
Cheap carrier If you are looking to avoid the contracts and more expensive plans that other carriers offer I guess this is an okay choice. You definitely get what you pay for though. I can only connect to a few select WiFi networks, calls are dropped constantly, my messaging app crashes when I receive picture messages and when I try to send them. I will be switching to another carrier very soon.
