I started having issues with data clearing when trying to deposit checks as well as transferring money. Called support and never called a call back. So, I called them again and the only tech they have on staff today is out to lunch. Clearly this banks online department needs to improve things. Do yourself a favor and use another bank that is keeping up with trends.
It is frustrating the 4 banks are in 4 separate apps. They should all be together it has created problems repeatedly.
The reason "camera not available" pops up is because the app doesn't ask permission to use the camera, as it probably should. You can give it permission by going to your device SETTINGS then to APPS then BANK OF CASTLE, then you click on PERMISSIONS and turn camera on
Can't even take pictures of checks. Click the camera button and it says "camera is not available". On a Galaxy S8.
Useful overall, but it kills me how buggy the phone deposit feature is. It worked ONCE, but otherwise I can never get it to accept the check photos, even with directly overhead lighting, black background and centered check. Please fix, I want to love this app!
